A brand new one-make race series has been created by Italian carpark giants ParkinGo, who currently sponsor Chaz Davies' BE1 Triumph World Supersport team, and will run with seven European WSB rounds.

The class, called the ParkinGo World Series, joins WSB at the at Valencia, Assen, Monza, Misano, Brno, Donington and Nurburgring races but bikes and specifications are yet to be confirmed.

"We have had the opportunity to get to know Giuliano Rovelli over the years in his role as owner of the Triumph BE1 Racing team and we are sure that thanks to his dynamism and entrepreneurial skill, he will be able to give the right impulse to guarantee the success of this new trophy," said WSB chief Paolo Flammini.

"A warm welcome therefore to ParkinGo who also become the Official Sponsor of the three Italian rounds of the Superbike World Championship for the next two seasons."
