Stiggy Honda's Leon Haslam reckons the new World Superbike schedule, which has seen Friday morning practice scrapped, could be tough on Superbike team technicians.
The Phillip Island podium man reckons that only having 45 minutes in between Superbike free practice and qualifying on Friday afternoon will severely cut down on the timesit takes to make decisions and implement any changes to the bikes.
"It'could be quite tough on the team's technicians," said Haslam, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning. "Only having three-quarters of an hour to talk about any change that need to be made to the bike, and then making those happen isn't a lot of time.
"It also means that if someone crashes in a big way during practice, they are really going to struggle to get the bike back together. It might mean riders are a bit more cautious in that session."
