The Ducati factory rider Nicolo Bulega will start from pole position at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

For the third time in the 2025 World Superbike Championship, Nicolo Bulega has claimed pole position for the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad.

However, this weekend's pole position will be sweeter than his previous two as he smashed the lap record at Ducati's home circuit in Misano.

The Italian rider was 0.238 seconds faster over one lap than his main title rival, Toprak Razgatlioglu. But Bulega was still full of praise for Razgatlioglu as they both set 'unbelievable' lap times.

"It is incredible," Bulega told TNT Sports after claiming pole position at Misano.

"Honestly, I did not expect to be so fast, because a 1:31.6 is incredible, even more with the hot track temperatures.

"In the test, I did a 1:32.0, but the track temperature was much better. So, a 31.6 in this condition really is incredible.

"I have a good feeling with my bike, still not 100%, but honestly, I feel good. Also, Toprak was very, very fast. I have not checked Bassani's times, but me and Toprak in the 31's are unbelievable times, and I did not expect to be so fast."

When it comes to race pace, Bulega could not pick a winner between himself and Razgatlioglu as they have both led Practice sessions throughout the weekend.

"I don't know," Bulega said when asked about his and Toprak's pace over race distance.

"This morning, maybe I was a bit better than Toprak in terms of race pace, but yesterday he was a bit better than me.

"So, I don't know, I think we will discover our potential after Race One."
