Offer moves to BR Corse for 2022 WorldSSP300

Britain's Indy Offer returns to Yamaha for the 2022 FIM Supersport 300 Championship in a deal that will see the 18 year-old also compete in the Italian CIV.

Joining BR Corse, Offer will return to the 300 class for his third season in the World Championship, switching from Kawasaki to the R3, with a complete winter training schedule ahead and the chance to gain added experience as he undertakes both championships.

“I am really thankful to Andrea and Eduardo and everyone at BR Corse for giving me the opportunity to join them next season,” Offer said from Portimao ahead of the season finale.

“They have proved that they can develop riders and help them to make the next step that is needed to succeed at this level, and this is something that I am really excited about. They have a lot of knowledge and will provide me with the tools to be able to focus on my riding both in the world championship and in Italy.

“Racing in the Italian Championship will also be good for my career as it means I will be riding a lot. The CIV level is high and doing both championships with BR Corse can only help me. We have a lot of exciting things planned both on and off the track and I cannot wait to get started. It will be a nice feeling to be racing in blue again!

“Finally, I want to thank SMW Racing for giving me the chance to race within the World Superbike paddock for the last two seasons and I wish them all the best for the future.”
