Veteran MCE British Superbike crew chief and former Supersport race winner Pete Jennings has joined the Voltcom Suzuki World Superbike team on Alex Lowes’ side of the garage.

The professional northerner, who is a big fan of all types of cake, has left Milwaukee Yamaha after six years as the team’s engine builder as the opportunity to work on the world stage was too big to pass up.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the boys at Milwaukee but the opportunity to switch to World Superbikes came up and I couldn’t let it go past,” said Jennings, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

“I’m looking forward to working with Alex and the whole Voltcom squad. It is also a good way to experience the many and varied types of cake that are available outside of the UK.”

It is not yet known who will replace Jennings in the Milwaukee setup.
