Milwaukee Aprilia will field only Eugene Laverty in both Phillip Island WorldSBK races after Lorenzo Savadori fractured his collarbone in a Superpole crash and is already on his way to Melbourne for surgery.
Savadori went down at Siberia and hopes to be 100 per cent for the next round at Buriram but collarbones can sometimes be a tricky thing to fix.
“It was really unlucky as I push hard to make a very good lap for fight for pole position. Everytime we are close to the limit and I do a big crash. I broke my collarbone and for tomorrow is not possible race but for Buriram we are 100 per cent,” said Savadori at the track.
