Yakhnich Yamaha's Sam Lowes dominated the World Supersport test timesheet, going three-tenths of a second faster than reigning champion Kenan Sofuoglu and demolishing the outright lap record in the process.
The Lincolnshire man lapped in 1'33.076 compared to the Kawasaki man's 1'33.384 and both were well inside the 1'33.847 pole time of Joan Lascorz set back in 2010. Fabien Foret was third quickest on a 1'33,614.
Pata Honda rookie Michael Van Der Mark was fourth fastest on a 1'33.874 with David Salom fifth and former 125GP world champion Gabor Talmasci in sixth place.
Scotland's Kevin Coghlan bagged 17th place overall on a 1'34.881 with Christian Iddon 19th and Jack Kennedy 23rd.
