Gremlins that have plagued Stiggy Honda's Leon Haslam since the start of free practice yesterday turned up again today and hampered the Derbyshire man's Superpole aspirations.
The problems, which are believed to be electrical, limited Haslam to just 15 flying laps over the past two days and a gamble to save his qualifiers for the final two sessions didn't off as he didn't make the cut.
"We seem to be plagued by technical issues and have only done around fifteen flying laps in total over the whole weekend. Despite the issues we set out on a race tyre and made a gamble to save the qualifiers for the ending but missed out on that," said a disappointed Haslam.
"But that’s the way it goes in the new Superpole qualifying. Tomorrow is a different story, there is a few areas we still need to improve, but I am looking forward to tomorrow’s race.”
