QATAR WSB: HASLAM SUFFERING TECHNICAL GREMLINS

Stiggy Honda's Leon Haslam has been beset by un-named technical gremlins during the first day's practice at Qatar, resulting in the former British Superbike man propping up the middle of the provisional grid.

Haslam's team went to the desert track knowing they would have to start from square one because they had no data, but the undisclosed technical problems have set them back further.

“I had a few issues today which held me back a little. We managed to make some good progress with the suspension. Hopefully tomorrow we can put the time and laps in and qualify well and continue the progression that we made today," said Haslam.
