Althea Honda's Tommy Hill will be looking for two top ten finishes at this weekend's Qatar World Superbike round after a brace of point-scoring places at the series' opening Phillip Island round.
Hill fell victim to a free practice crash just before the new, three-tier Superpole during qualifying in Australia and then bad front tyre wear put paid his hard-charging during the races.
“I have been staying in Phillip Island for a few weeks, and now with the first round completed, I just want to get riding again," said Hill. "Qatar circuit is new for me, so I need to learn fast, get on the pace and start to try and run in the top ten, and keep moving up the ladder, this will not be easy, but I am determined to progress up the finishing order.”
