Leon Haslam’s Red Devils Aprilia are still undecided on his team-mate for the upcoming World Superbike season but are ‘evaluating’ the piosition of Italian Michel Fabrizio.

The former works Ducati rider tested with the team at Jerez and he managed a 1’41.300 after almost an entire season away from competition. He was less than a second slower than Haslam and ended the test fifth on the overall timesheets.

“Michel needed time to readjust but showed that he could adapt quickly to the bike. Over the coming days, we’ll analyse the data collected here in Spain and evaluate Michel’s position,” said team boss Andrea Petricca.
