Reports have suggested that Tarran Mackenzie will continue with MGM Bonovo Racing next season.
During the 2025 World Superbike season, MGM Bonovo Racing Team Manager, Michael Galinski, announced on social media that he would retire from racing at the end of the year.
This announcement put the future of the German team in doubt; it was expected that the squad would not continue in World Superbikes in 2026.
However, according to Speedweek.com, it is now expected that the team will continue in World Superbikes next season with the Ducati Panigale V4 R.
The 2025 World Superbike season was an inconsistent season for the MGM Bonovo Racing squad, as they switched from BMW machinery to Ducati for the first time.
Scott Redding started the 2025 season with MGM, and at the opening round of the season, he showed promise as he featured in the top five in all three races around Phillip Island.
But the British rider did not feature inside the top five again for the rest of his time with the team. After 18 more races in the World Championship, Redding had a best finish of sixth place and left the team after the United Kingdom World Superbike Round.
The team continued racing two weeks later at the Hungarian World Superbike Round, after securing the services of Tarran Mackenzie for the remainder of the 2025 season. During his 15 races with the team and with Ducati, Mackenzie had four top ten finishes and scored points on five other occasions.
In the same report from Speedweek.com, they report that Mackenzie will remain with MGM Bonovo Racing for a full season in 2026 and will continue on the Ducati.
