Parkingo Yamaha's Chaz Davies has received a further boost to add to his runaway World Supersport win at Monza as team-mate and title rival Luca Scassa has been banned from riding at the Misano round at the end of June.

Scassa rode at the Italian track as an instructor on an R1 but his team's nominated test venue is Motorland Aragon so he has been excluded from the race under two sections of the FIM rule book. Davies has not been seen punching the air and saying 'Yessss' under his breath. Oh no...
