Scott Redding will return to Ducati machinery as he signs for MGM Bonovo for the 2025 World Superbike (WorldSBK) season.
After months of speculation, Scott Redding's World Superbike future has been announced. The 2019 British Superbike Champion will remain in the WorldSBK paddock for the 2025 season.
After his current BMW team announced that they would be leaving the Championship Redding was without a ride for 2025. However, this is where the issues began as Redding had a BMW contract in his pocket for next season, but there would be no available BMW machinery for him.
The new MGM Bonovo Team will continue where the Bonovo Action BMW Team will leave off. But instead of running a BMW M 1000 RR Redding will pilot a Ducati Panigale V4 R.
The 31-year-old will be the sole rider for the MGM Bonovo Team and will be reunited with the Ducati in 2025.
In the past, Redding won 11 British Superbike races and 12 World Superbike races on Ducati machinery. A return to the Italian machinery could be what Redding needs to revive his World Superbike career after not standing on the podium across the last two seasons.
