Both Sam Lowes and Gino Rea will start on the front row for tomorrow's World Supersport round at Silverstone after setting the second and fourth fastest times in the last qualifying session this afternoon.
Parkalgar Honda's Lowes was beaten to pole position by the Motocard Kawasaki of David Salom with his lap of 2'08.527. It was three tenths faster than the Lincolnshire man could manage but he managed to keep youngster Florian Marino behind him.
Rea rounds out the front row and is the best part of sixth tenths off the pace but fended off the attention of Robbin Harms who ended up heading the second row. Fabien Foret is sixth quickest with Broc Parkes seventh and series leader Chaz Davies a disappointing-for-him eighth. James Ellison 12th and nearly 2.5s slower than the pole time.
