Qatar World Supersport race winner Kyle Smith will remain in the championship for 2016 after switching to the CIA Honda team.

The Yorkshire-born Spain resident spent this year in the Pata Honda setup but will move to Simon Buckmaster’s squad for next year.

“I am delighted to be racing for CIA Landlords Insurance Honda in the 2016 World Supersport Championship. I signed with the team and then finished this season with a win, which sets me up for a great winter. I can’t wait to get my first ride on the CIA Landlords Insurance Honda and the 2016 season starts now for me – I want to be challenging for the title,” said Smith.
