Three-time World Supersport Champion Kenan Sofuoglu will remain in the series next year after signing to ride for the San Carlo Puccetti squad.

Sofuoglu has been beaten to the title for the last two years by Sam Lowes and Michael van der Mark but believes the ZX-6R still has the potential to take another big trophy.

“Our team and I are very proud to compete with Kenan Sofuoglu next season in the Supersport World Championship. He's the most talented rider in Supersport and we really want to win the championship with him,” said the Turk.

“I am also very happy that after more than 10 years of very good collaboration with Kawasaki, in national and European championship racing, KME chose our team with the aim to win.”
