Sterilgarda Yamaha's Ben Spies has said that a decision on where he will be riding next season will made sooner rather than later and hinted a switch to MotoGP could be on the cards.
But the Donington Park double race winner also said that he is having a great time in the World Superbike paddock and still has a job to do. In a video for bikesportnews.com and the Speengreen channel, Spies said: "I have been having a blast here. We've had enough bad luck to make you want to drive your head in the wall but I am still having a great time and the team is still working as hard as they can.
"We haven't decided on what's going on next year. There have been discussion here (at Donington) We have talked to a few people about next year and there is going to be something sooner rather than later, but it's not going to be tomorrow. I am happy with Yamaha and Yamaha is pleased with what I am doing.
"If I go to GP there are a whole lot of bigger fish there than me. MotoGP is the pinnacle but when you watch World Superbikes it is so much more emotional. They are the best riders in the world, but when you watch a World Superbike race on TV, you're going nuts."
