Tarran Mackenzie returns to Most for the first time since 2023 victory

Gold & Goose

Tarran Mackenzie will race at Autodrom Most for the first time since his victory at the circuit in 2023.

The 2025 World Superbike Championship continues this weekend with the Czech Republic World Superbike Round at Autodrom Most.

Tarran Mackenzie has never ridden the Czech circuit on a Superbike, but he has prior experience at the circuit on a Supersport machine. The British rider claimed his only podium visit in the class in Race Two at the 2023 Czech Republic Round as he won a mixed conditions race.

Mackenzie is hoping that his good memories from the circuit will help him make up for the lack of Superbike experience he has at Most.

"I’m really excited for Most," Mackenzie said ahead of the 2025 Czech Republic World Superbike Round.

"Unfortunately, I didn’t get to ride there last year because of injury, so my only experience of the track was in Supersport in 2023. I have good memories of that weekend as it was my first ever victory!

"Cremona was a struggle, but I think there were positive points we can carry into this weekend. We perhaps have a new plan in terms of the direction to take, so Friday should be interesting. I’m looking forward to getting started."

The Italian World Superbike Round at Cremona was a terrible weekend for Mackenzie and the Petronas MIE Racing Honda squad. The former British Superbike Champion failed to finish any of the races at the Italian circuit after finishing inside the points in all three races the round before at the TT Circuit Assen.
