Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team riders, Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani, will only get one day of track action at Jerez.
This week, the World Superbike riders will return to the track for a two-day Test at the Circuito de Jerez on the 26th and 27th of November.
After a successful first season in the World Superbike Championship, the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will continue their preparations ahead of their second season in the series.
The bimota KB998 Rimini will be back on track across both days of testing, but Test Rider Xavi Fores will take on testing duties on Wednesday (26th). After the Spaniard takes the time to shake down items on Wednesday, full-time rider Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani will take to the track on Thursday (27th).
This testing strategy has been put into place by the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team to deal with the Testing Restrictions for full-time World Superbike riders.
"After a busy September/October, we could work again calmly in the workshop, and with all our suppliers, to get ready for this final test of 2025 in Jerez," Guim Roda, the BbKRT Team Manager, said.
"This is our first outing with some basic points we have developed to try to make steps ahead in 2026 with the KB998 Rimini. We plan to start with Xavi Fores on the first day and then with both Alex and Axel on the second day.
"Basically, we will check and evaluate some points on the bike with Fores, before confirming some things with our riders, due to the 10-day test limitation rule. The weather forecast seems not so bad, and I’m sure with many riders on track, we will see promising lap times - which should make for a nice show during this test."
