Garrett Gerloff did not have the best weekend of racing at Jerez and the test on Monday and Tuesday left the Bonovo BMW rider feeling even worse.
Garrett Gerloff finished 14th and 9th in the two races he completed at Jerez after crashing out of the Superpole Race. However, the American gave his team a lot of work to do even after the weekend of racing had finished.
In the final day of testing at Jerez Gerloff had a big crash and left his BMW M1000RR looking battered. This was clearly not the way the Texan was hoping his 2023 season would end.
“It was stupid; it’s pissing me off," stated Garrett Gerloff. "I used the inside kerb at Turn 3 like I always do and lost the front.
"I’m sorry to the whole team; this weekend has just been awful. The test wasn’t bad in general. We got to try some different setting stuff but I am just annoyed with another crash. The team doesn’t deserve it.”
