Tommy Hill has returned home after an operation to fix the right femur he broke during the turn one melee at the last World Supersport round at Germany's Nurburgring over a week ago.
He completed just ten seconds of his first WSS race after recovering from an horrendous testing crash in Spain during the winter, in which he initially broke the bone that snapped again in Germany after wildcard rider Arne Tode caused a massive pile-up.
The Surrey man is already up and about on crutches but doctors don't yet know how long he will be out of action - but it is expected to be at least two months due to the injury seriousness.
