VALENCIA WSB: HASLAM FINDS PACE IN LAST PRACTICE

Stiggy Honda's Leon Haslam has finally found the pace that has been eluding him so far at Valencia this weekend, chopping half a second off his second qualifying lap time of 1'35.437.

Haslam got within two tenths of Max Biaggi's quickest time in the session and finished ahead of Yamaha's Ben Spies and Xerox Ducati's Noriyuki Haga who posted 1'35.103 and 1'35.189 laps respectively.

The former HM Plant Honda man's team-mate John Hopkins didn't fare so well in the session, only managing 16th fastest, a second off Haslam's pace. He will be digging about in Haslam's logger about now.

Spies' team-mate Tom Sykes was eighth fastest on a 1'35.327 with Jonathan Rea 10th, Shane Byrne 12th and Tommy Hill down in 23rd.
