VALENCIA WSB: WE'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH, SAYS TEN KATE

Ten Kate Honda boss Ronald Ten Kate has called for immediate improvement in his team's results before the squad moves to their home World Superbike race at Assen in three weeks' time.

Jonathan Rea, Carlos Checa and Ryuichi Kiyonari managed a grant total of 24 points between them at Valencia, not what the Dutch team would have been expecting at the start of the season.

"There are no excuses for these results – we simply haven’t performed well enough this weekend and we all know that we must improve things from this moment," said the Dutchman.

"Everyone is working hard to find a way forward, but we will arrive at Assen for our home race in less than three weeks and we must achieve the results that the hard work of the team deserves."
