Isaac Viñales will race for TPR Team Pedercini at the third round of the FIM Superbike World Championship at Estoril.
After parting ways with Loris Cresson after the opening WorldSBK weekend and drafting in Leon Haslam for Assen, Viñales is in the hot seat as the championship heads to the Iberian peninsula next weekend.
The twenty-eight-year-old Spaniard, who has experience within both WorldSBK and WorldSSP in recent years, will return to the production paddock in Portugal, once again competing with his #32 aboard the Italian team’s Kawasaki ZX-10 RR.
With no time to test before the event, Viñales will be in at the deep end when FP1 gets underway at the 4.1km circuit on the outskirts of Lisbon, but with a top fifteen finish at the venue last year, the four time WorldSSP podium finisher hopes for a strong showing with the Italian team that saw Haslam score their first championship points of the season last time out at the Dutch TT.
