Win tickets to the Donington Park World Superbike round

The eni FIM Superbike World Championship visits Donington Park on 22-24 May, for the only UK round of the series. Chances of home success are higher than ever, with British riders winning every race of the season so far – such is our domination, that Jonathan Rea has won eight out of the ten races so far.

Kawasaki rider, Northern Ireland’s Jonathan Rea, is currently stealing the march on his rivals, and holds a commanding lead in the series. Donington Park-backed Leon Haslam isn’t far behind though, and is enjoying a resurgence in form on his new Aprilia Red Devils machine. Chaz Davies and Tom Sykes complete the British domination at the head of the championship standings.

The racing in World Superbikes has been sensational this year, with many of the races so far decided by less than half a second, and some by mere hundredths! More of the same should be expected at Donington, which is renowned as a bikers haven, and scene to much drama in recent years. With big screens placed around the venue, and some of the best and closest views at any race track in the world, fans will see all the action unfold right in front of them.

Last year’s action at Donington was intense, with Sykes memorably claiming a double win, storming through the field to win having dropped to 11th place in the opening race, but only after a titanic duel with Loris Baz, before performing a similar feat in race two by surging from ninth to victory.

A full support card is also in action, with more races from World Supersport, Superstock 600 & 1000, European Junior Cup and Ducatis, while a host of off track activities, including a Fan Zone will also keep fans entertained throughout the weekend, with entertainment also taking place in the evenings.
