World Superbike bosses have this morning announced a ban on testing outside of Europe for all contracted teams for the 2014 season on top of the winter test ban which starts on December 1 until January 15.

After that, teams are not allowed to test after the start of the first race weekend until the last race weekend, save for three official days organised by Dorna which be on Mondays following to-be-announced races. There will be a pre-Phillip Island test organised.

Supersport teams will not be allowed to test at all in the season.
