Yamaha's WorldSBK electronics guru Michele Gadda has been on loan the MotoGP team as part of an attempt to solve their woes.
Gadda was in the MotoGP garage at the Brno race and test to see what he could bring to the electronics party in the premier class but has not been stolen out from under the noses of Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark.
"Michele was working with the MotoGP team at the Brno race and test, as he is a Yamaha engineer and we have a very long summer break," said a Pata Yamaha team spokesman.
"This doesn't mean he will go to the MotoGP team, it was more a case of sharing available Yamaha resources."
