'It is impossible to attack' - Toprak Razgatlioglu continues to struggle against Nicolo Bulega and Ducati

Gold & Goose

Once again, Toprak Razgatlioglu had to settle for second place as he was beaten by Nicolo Bulega at the Cremona Circuit.

Toprak Razgatlioglu started his Sunday with a second place in the World Superbike Superpole Race at Cremona.

The two-time World Superbike Champion was not able to fight with Nicolo Bulega during the 10-lap Sprint Race as he had to settle for second place.

Razgatlioglu is now 29 points behind Bulega in the 2025 World Superbike Championship, and he has claimed it is 'impossible' to fight with the Ducati.

With one race left on Sunday afternoon, Razgatlioglu is still targeting a race win at the Cremona Circuit for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.

"I am really surprised by the pace, but I am pushing every lap," Razgatlioglu told TNT Sports.

"But I was not close enough to attack because the Ducati is unbelievable on the corner exit. If I was a little bit closer, I would attack, but I am just trying to manage my attack, but it is impossible.

"Because on all corner exits the Ducati is incredible on acceleration, and the turning is much better than my bike. I will just keep fighting for the best positions. On the last lap, I was pushing so hard, but maybe he had started to drop.

"P2 is better than nothing, but I am searching for P1. So, I still have the same target, but we will see in Race Two. Race Two is always difficult, I think we will see 1:28s again or maybe 1:29s in the race.

"But I will try again, I have one more chance in Race Two, this weekend, my target was to win a race, but we will see in Race Two."
