After being on the sidelines for a month and a half, Tito Rabat is already looking at a way back into World Superbikes.
After leaving the Yamaha Motoxracing Team after the Czech Republic World Superbike Round, Tito Rabat is reportedly eyeing a way back into the series.
According to GPOne, the 2014 Moto2 World Champion is the prime option to enter the Petronas MIE Honda Racing Team.
After the Emilia-Romagna World Superbike Round, a spot opened up at the Malaysian team after Tarran Mackenzie parted ways with the squad after two and a half years.
With a vacant Honda CBR1000RR-R available on the grid, Rabat has been in discussions with the team, who are run by Midori Moriwaki, over a ride for the remainder of the 2025 season.
This would be the fourth different manufacturer and team that the Spaniard will have competed for in the World Superbike Championship, having previously ridden for Barni Racing on a Ducati, Puccetti Racing on a Kawasaki and Motoxracing Yamaha.
Rabat currently sits 22nd in the World Superbike Championship after competing in 15 races on the Yamaha R1.
During his four full seasons on a Superbike, the Spaniard has a best Championship finish of 16th and a best race result of ninth, which he secured in his debut season in 2021.
