Miguel Oliveira has revealed that he will inherit Toprak Razgatlioglu's crew for the 2026 World Superbike Championship.
Since the announcement was made that Toprak Razgatlioglu would move to MotoGP, there has been speculation surrounding his long-time crew chief, Phil Marron.
Originally, it was believed that Marron would follow Razgatlioglu to the Grand Prix paddock after working with him since the Turkish rider's time at Puccetti Kawasaki.
However, after the French World Superbike Round, it was then reported by GPOne that Marron would remain in World Superbikes with the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team. The decision was reportedly not made by Razgatlioglu, but rather by Yamaha.
It has now been seemingly confirmed by Miguel Oliveira, who has signed for BMW for 2026, that he will work with Marron next season.
After the Friday afternoon Practice session at the Mandalika Circuit, the Portuguese rider was asked about his crew for the 2026 World Superbike season.
"Yes, everything indicates that my crew will be Toprak's crew, yes," Oliveira confirmed at the Indonesian Grand Prix.
Marron has aided Razgatlioglu to two World Superbike Championships, one with Yamaha and another with BMW. Before his current rider leaves the paddock to go to MotoGP, Marron could help him secure a third Superbike title this season.
It is believed that Yamaha has decided to hire Alberto Giribuola as Toprak Razgatlioglu's first MotoGP Crew Chief. The Italian left the Red Bull KTM Tech3 squad after the Czech Republic Grand Prix, when the rumours were first suggested by Sky Sports Italia.
