When asked about his decision to join LCR Honda and HRC next season, Moreira revealed it was because Honda 'is a big manufacturer'.

"For sure, I am really happy, I think we need to be proud of this as Honda is a big manufacturer," Moreira told MotoGP.com ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.

"It is because of that I made this decision, because Honda is really big. It will be good for sure, but we need to finish this year and let's see for the rest of this year."

The Brazilian Grand Prix will return to the MotoGP calendar next season and will play host to Round Two of the Championship.

Moreira will be the sole Brazilian on the premier class grid, and believes it will be a 'crazy weekend' for him.

"For sure, it will be a crazy weekend," he said when asked about the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix.

"At the end, there will be all my family, all the people, all my friends, so it will be nice. Let's see, but it will be nice next year."

Switching his focus back to the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, Moreira believes he can win the title if he continues how has been in recent rounds.

"I think we need to continue like this," he explained.

"Right now we are in a good moment, so we need to enjoy it, and let's see at the end we have four races to go. I will try to stay the same as I am now, as I was in Indonesia, and continue race by race, and then we will see in the Championship."
