Results from the race at the 2026 Moto2 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Filip Salac won the Moto2 race at Silverstone, beating Ivan Ortola in a chaotic final lap. Alex Escrig completed the podium, his first world championship rostrum.

Manuel Gonzalez led onto the final lap but thought he'd won the race - either miscounting the laps himself or the information he had from the dashboard or pit board was incorrect. Dani Holgado was second over the line for the final time and made minor contact with Gonzalez as the Intact rider slowed, but the contact was enough to break Gonzalez' exhaust. Gonzalez continued but dropped to 14th before the end of the final lap.

Holgado himself missed the podium as a result of a rear slide on the exit of Luffield on the final lap, Escrig taking advantage. The Aspar rider took fourth place.

Izan Guevara led early on but dropped to fifth by the end, while Alonso Lopez finished sixth after taking the holeshot.

Dani Munoz, Deniz Oncu, Barry Baltus, and Sergio Garcia rounded out the top-10.

Tony Arbolino led laps in the middle of the race but crashed out with five laps to go at the Vale chicane.
