Miguel Oliveira will participate in his final Grand Prix this weekend before moving to World Superbikes.

This weekend will mark the end of Miguel Oliveira's 15-year journey in the Grand Prix paddock as he will move to World Superbikes in 2026.

The Portuguese rider started out in the 125cc World Championship in 2011 and has since made his way through the ranks and become a MotoGP race winner.

A move to Prima Pramac Racing was thought to be a final lifeline for the Portuguese rider in MotoGP, but after injury woes in the early stage of the season, he lost his ride to three-time World Superbike Champion, Toprak Razgatlioglu.

Despite the Valencian Grand Prix being his farewell Grand Prix, Oliveira believes this weekend 'will feel like a walk in the park' after the emotions he experienced last weekend at his final home Grand Prix at Portimao.

"After all the emotions I experienced during the Portimão weekend, racing in Valencia will feel like a walk in the park," Oliveira said.

"It will definitely be an easier week in terms of pressure and emotions, even though this will officially be my last MotoGP race.

"I feel good about it, and I hope I can deliver a strong performance and fight for some solid points."

The Portuguese rider has put pen to paper to join the World Superbike grid in 2026, and will ride for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, alongside former Grand Prix rider, Danilo Petrucci.

He will begin life as a BMW rider on the 26th and 27th of November at Jerez during the final World Superbike Test of the year.
