Morello Racing Kawasaki team has added another rider to its ever-growing camp after signing John Ingram to contest the 2014 Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.
The Wigan rider will partner Jesse Trayler on the squad’s second Kawasaki ZX-10R machine for the full season when the series gets underway at Brands Hatch next month.
His arrival at the Morello Racing Kawasaki team brings the number of riders up to three, as the team also prepares for its MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship debut with rider Peter Baker.
“It’s brilliant news, I’m so grateful to Steve Buckenham for the opportunity to ride with the Morello Racing Kawasaki team. Steve is a man who doesn’t do things by halves and I couldn’t think of a better team to be with for my return to Superstock 1000,” he said.
“I’m excited about coming back to the series as I have a good record of results there and I think the combination of my knowledge and experience in the class along with having a strong team like this around me, means I can be a regular top 10 or even a top six finisher this year.”
