Reeves teams with Carl Cox for British Sidecar attack

Multiple World and British Sidecar king Tim Reeves has teamed with the Carl Cox Motorsport outfit to challenge for another domestic F1 title in 2017.

Bringing home their 2015 World Championship winning outfit from New Zealand where Carl Cox Motorsport had been campaigning it, Tim and brother Tristan have been testing it ahead of the MCE British Superbike-hosted series.

Run over 10 rounds, with two races at each meeting, the series has a prominent schedule within the BSB series, giving it huge onsite and TV exposure around the world.

“We love the Kiwi race series over winter having been out there before and we were sitting around in December with nothing to do, so it was a bit of a no-brainer! Then Carl suggested we ship the outfit back to the UK, which was perfect,” said Tim Reeves.

“We’re so fired up for this year for loads of reasons and it’s great to be back with Tristan. There’s loads of top competition, the series is really well promoted and we have a good slot at each round near the Superbike class. We’ve just got back from testing in France, at Val De Vienne, we were well under the circuit record and I’ve got to say this is the best outfit I’ve ever had, its mega to be re-united with it.

“We are so proud of the Carl Cox Motorsport sponsorship. Carl just loves racing of all kinds, he doesn’t like big hospitality units and can come in for a brew at any time. I’m also massively appreciative of the ongoing support from E-Aide and other companies including H&S Contractors, Fernox, LA Marketing, Met Rail Planet Engineering, Hunts, Silkolene and Arai.”
