REPLI-CAST TO FIELD THREE-RIDER TEAM IN 125GP

Repli-Cast Racing have announced they are to run a three-man team in the British 125GP Championship this season after retaining the services of talented youngster Ben McConnachie.

McConnachie, whose father is former 125 rider Ian, spent half of last season with the squad in his first year of British Championship racing and looked to be on for a top five finish at Croft before a mistake called a halt.

He will be joined by ex-Red Bull Rookie Adam Blacklock who will be doing his first full championship year after his debut on a particularly standard bike towards the end of last year. The 14 year old managed a top ten result at Silverstone on a track he had never seen before.

The final piece of the jigsaw is former mini-moto star Kasey Wyatt. Repli-cast team manager Gary Dawson said: "Casey started racing mini-motos a very young age and proved to everyone that winning was all he wanted after taking every championship he entered.

"He moved up to the Conti Cup and again took 6 First Place finishes along the way to winning that championship. He then decided to make the move to the Superteen Challenge where again he finished on the top steps of the po-dium on numerous occasions. He also took 2nd Place at the Race of the Year at Mallory Park.

"Repli-Cast UK Racing were delighted when being approached by Kasey’s sponsors to nature this youngster on to the highest level of 125 GP Racing. Kasey will be a contender for the 125 Cup and we welcome him into the team for 2009."
