Tommy Bridewell has been given the 'all-clear' after his huge high side at Round Five of the British Superbike Championship.
During Race Two of Round Five of the British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch, Tommy Bridewell suffered a huge highside at the final corner.
The 2023 British Superbike Champion opted out of competing in the final race of the weekend on Sunday afternoon.
Little had been heard from Bridewell about his condition after the incident. However, on Sunday, the 3rd of August, he posted an update to his personal Facebook page.
Bridewell admitted that at first it was suspected that he had broken his pelvis in the crash. But was 'thankful' to confirm that after further scans and X-rays, it was confirmed that he had not fractured anything.
He has also been given the 'all-clear' for Round Six of the 2025 season at his home circuit, Thruxton.
Bridewell's brief social media statement reads:
"Just an update on my condition after a suspected broken pelvis from my Brands Hatch crash. After more X-rays and scans, we have the all clear. No fractures, just bruising thankfully.
"Alpinestars and HJC Helmets, I’m so grateful to be supported by you. The best in the business."
After five rounds of the 2025 British Superbike Championship, Bridewell finds himself in sixth place in the standings, with three podiums to his name.
