Boast Plumbing’s Robbie Brown was crowned the 2015 Ducati TriOptions Cup Champion after taking his eighth win of the year in sketchy conditions.
Brown went for slicks front and rear and dropped back to tenth on the first lap with the track still damp but as the track dried, Brown moved forward, with his title rival Leon Morris in tow.
Brown and Morris caught on to the leading duo and Brown got caught behind Rob Guiver, whereas Morris dived to the lead, meaning with three laps to go Morris was the championship leader.
However, on the run down to Graham Hill Bend, Morris got it all wrong and ended up running on to the grass, handing Brown the title.
In the end, Brown came home four and half seconds clear of Rob Guiver, with Aaron Brown taking his debut podium after leading the race throughout the early stages.
