Stauff Connect Kawasaki’s Tarran Mackenzie was the quickest rider during the Dickies British Supersport second free practice session at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, after a respectable 46.932 lap.
Meanwhile Quattro Plant Cool Kawasaki’s Andy Reid was only 0.5 seconds adrift of Mackenzie and had to settle for P2 this afternoon. The top three was completed by CAME Yamaha’s Joe Francis.
The Chester native is returning from injury and made an impact at the Kent track. He did not manage to lap inside the 46’s but did a 47.012 which placed his R6 third fastest overall.
The top five was rounded off by Pacedayz Yamaha’s Ben Currie and Acumen’s Luke Jones. Joe Collier was back in action, but this time on the One Call Insurance Triumph and he placed nineteenth on the sheets, after only jumping on the bike this morning.
Tsingtao’s Jake Dixon, CAME Yamaha’s James Westmoreland, Gearlink Kawasaki’s Luke Hedger, East Coast Construction Racing’s Bjorn Estment and Gearlink Kawasaki’s Mason Law finished FP2 inside the top ten on the timing screens.
