Pacedayz Trackdays rider Kyle Ryde stormed to his second Pirelli National Superstock 600 win of the year, and moves up to second in the overall championship standings.
FFX Yamaha’s Andy Reid still leads the class, but even though he got the hole-shot he couldn’t hold on to head the rest of the field and soon fell off the pace, and at the chequered flag ended the race in fifth.
Be Wiser Kawasaki’s Joe Collier snatched second on the podium from MWR Kawasaki’s Andy Irwin. It was the first podium finish for the Carrickfergus rider, and he managed to hold on to the final step of the rostrum from Be Wiser Kawasaki’s Nick Anderson.
The Kawasaki rider tried to make a move on the Northern Irishman on the final lap and the last corner – but it didn’t stick, leaving Irwin to edge on ahead.
Team WD-40’s Tarran Mackenzie was heading for a place in the top five, but then he crashed at Stirlings. Spanish lad, Aleix Aulestia and Pacedayz Trackdays rider Joe Francis completed the top ten.
