Belfast team Collision Kawasaki have signed Jesse James Jones for the 2015 Pirelli National Superstock 600 season as he moves up from the Triumph Triple Challenge.
Jones competed in the now-defunct one-make series this year and achieved some strong results including a podium place at Snetterton but due to a family illness Jesse was unable to compete in the final rounds of the series.
Collision are now looking for a team-mate for Jesse in the National Superstock class and also a rider for the Supersport Evo bike to replace Danny Webb.
“I was unable to complete the final races of the season as my dad became ill and funding became really tough. Luckily I got introduced to Harry (Corbett) who helped me get back on a bike and with help from friends and sponsors such as Bill Philips from Berkshire Motorcycles who I have known throughout my racing career. I am really grateful to Harry and Paul for giving me this great opportunity for next year and I can’t wait to get started with them,” said Jones.
