Dickes British Supersport series leader Jack Kennedy has been ruled out of any further action at the Donington Park Bennetts British Superbike round.

The Integro Yamaha rider crashed yesterday and scans revealed a broken scaphoid. On medical advice, the Irishman has withdrawn from the rest of the meeting.

“Unfortunately I will not be racing today under medical advice, I have fractured my right scaphoid,” said Kennedy.

“I feel able to ride but I have to think of the big picture. Sorry to my team and sponsors we will aim to be back for Brands.”
