NMT No Limits Kawasaki’s Mason Law has been up the sharp end all weekend, and his incredible pace paid off during the Pirelli National Superstock 600 qualifying session at Donington Park today, as a quick 1’33.767 was enough to firmly place him on pole.
Law was only one tenth off the lap record that was set by Andy Reid last year, and was the only rider to lap inside the 1’33’s this afternoon. Law shares the front row with PacedayZ’s Benjamin Currie and Brad Jones Racing’s Brad Jones.
Currie lapped a respectable 1’34.364 to place his Yamaha on P2, with Jones rounding off the front row with a 1’34.773. Go Racing’s developments Tom Ward heads up row two, followed by Silicone Engineering Racing’s Malachi Mitchell-Thomas and TTC’s Joe Francis.
The session was red flagged after a crash from Matt Truelove at Mcleans, and he was taken to the medical centre at the track. Stauff Connect Academy’s Tarran Mackenzie, G & S Racing’s Kevin Van Leuven, and PaceDayZ’s Ross Twyman complete the third row.
