Cat Green made her comeback at Donington Park in the Motul British Motostar championship over the weekend, after getting a ride with the Redline KTM team on their Moto3 machine.

She has been out of action for 18 months after sustaining a nasty broken neck and wrist injury last season at Oulton Park. But Green has been making her way back to full fitness and aims to contest the rest of the season too.

“It is great to be back in the paddock and back on a bike again, and have a chance to ride a four stroke 250, which I have never done before,” said Green, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

“After nearly ten years of racing the two stokes it is a bit of a change to my riding style too. This weekend is a learning curve for me and we have been setting up the bike to how I like it. I have really enjoyed my time out on track. With 18 months out and getting back into it has been an eye opener, and it is just fantastic to be back.”
