Ducati's TriOptions Cup will continue to feature at MCE British Superbike Championship events next year, with an outline agreement between Ducati UK and series organisers MSVR to extend this partnership into 2016. The agreement strengthens the presence of the iconic Ducati brand on the MCE BSB programme as the one-make Cup continues to grow.
This season featured the introduction of the highly-anticipated 899 Panigale, which has encouraged growth in the series with an average of 25 riders featuring at the country's premier circuits including Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Silverstone.
This year's championship goes down to the wire, between Leon Morris and Dennis Hobbs, in the final round at Silverstone this weekend (3/4/5 October). A closely-contested season has seen five different race winners and a further three different podium finishers.
The 2015 Ducati TriOptions Cup will again be decided over eight rounds and 16 races, with the calendar to be released over the coming weeks.
Ducati UK Managing Director Tim Maccabee said: " I am pleased that we have continued our commitment to BSB through the Ducati TriOptions Cup. The series has been a fantastic success following on from the 848 Challenge and has been the perfect stage for the 899 Panigale to show its attributes on the track. Racing is part of Ducati's DNA and we will continue to develop and expand our presence within the British Superbike paddock."
