Superteens star Katie Hand returns to HEL Junior Supersport for 2022 as she joins the ranks of the Yamaha bLU cRU.
The first female rider to lift the Thundersport GB GP3 Superteens trophy, Hand made the announcement on social media having successfully completed four days of winter testing in Spain.
With one season of Supersport already under her belt, the Lincolnshire rider is excited to return with the added support of the Yamaha academy and Raceways Motorcycles - the team behind BSB title winners McAMS Yamaha - while retaining title sponsor MIH Solutions, who have supported her journey so far.
“Finally, after a successful four day test at Cartagena I can announce that I will be riding as part of the Yamaha bLU cRU team, supported by Raceways Motorcycles in this years BSB HEL Junior Supersport Championship,” Hand confirmed.
“The testing has given us great results, smashing my previous PB and continually improving on the new bike. The 2022 season has now officially started for me!”
