After a month of speculation, Jack Kennedy's 2025 plans have been announced by Honda Racing UK.

When Honda Racing UK announced their 2025 British Superbike line-up there was a question mark left next to Jack Kennedy's name.

The Irish rider was given the choice of whether to compete in British Superbikes or British Supersport. Kennedy was allowed to test both the Honda CBR1000RR-R and the Honda CBR600RR in Jerez before making his decision.

After completing the test Kennedy decided that in 2025 he would compete in the British Supersport Championship.

Most recently Kennedy spent the 2024 season in the British Supersport Championship with Honda Racing UK. In his first season back in Supersport he won the title on the Honda CBR600RR, claiming his fifth title. Previously Kennedy had won titles with Yamaha and Kawasaki but in 2024 he added Honda to his list.

The last time Kennedy had raced in the British Superbike Championship was in 2023. At the time he was riding for Mar-Train Racing Yamaha and ended up finishing the season in 10th place.

"Firstly I want to thank Honda for giving me the chance to test before making my decision," Kennedy stated.

"I’ve said it before, but it really is a unique situation to be in and I am very grateful. I’m excited to announce that I will be staying in Supersport next year. I can’t look beyond how happy I have been racing this year in one of the best teams I have ever raced for and loving every minute of it.

"At this moment in time, in my career and personally, this decision suits me better. The Supersport class is only getting bigger and stronger and I have absolute confidence in myself and Honda to bring home back-to-back titles."
