Reigning Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Champion Hudson Kennaugh has been disqualified from the Brands Hatch race result for ‘not completing ECU compliance’.

The South African finished the Kent in fourth place but was thrown out. His points were removed and he now drops to sixth in the title chase, some 82 behind leader Danny Buchan. He has won the only race that Buchan hasn't, at Snetterton, but that result must now be called into question.

Accusations of illegal ECUs are rife in the Superstock 1000 paddock and the MSVR technical control department are working hard to stamp out any irregularities.
