Morello Kawasaki’s Danny Buchan rounded out of an impressive Pirelli National Superstock 1000 double win after holding off constant pressure from Geordie lad Chrissy Rouse.
Buchan eased to victory yesterday but wad forced to work for it today with Rouse keen to avenge for his crash yesterday.
The safety car was brought out after Floridian James Rispoli spectacularly high sided out of the Hairpin, allowing Rouse to close up on Buchan.
However, despite visibly giving it everything, Rouse had to settle for second as Buchan romped to his fourth win of the year.
Bennett’s Suzuki’s Richard Cooper took third place, ahead of Mason Law and Michael Rutter.
Morello Kawasaki’s Fraser Rogers came through in a lonely sixth place before Scotsmen Matthew Paulo and Lewis Rollo took the chequered flag in seventh and eighth.
Rounding out the top ten were Buildbase Suzuki’s Alex Olsen and Mancunian Adam Jenkinson.
